Good news equestrian horse campers! Saddle Ridge Equestrian Campground, at Hillsdale State Park will only be taking equestrian campsite reservations, by phone. You can no longer book sites through Reserve America.Com.
This will help keep this area exclusive to horse campers and separates the campground from non-equestrian use. Please refer to contact numbers as listed above or below in ad.
You may still view the map for Saddle Ridge, and site information, on the Reserve America website, but you must contact the park office, or Saddle Ridge Campground office and leave a message to reserve a site, only for Saddle Ridge Equestrian Campground.
Several very nice sites with pens, and/or tie posts. Some with shade and two pull through sites for larger rigs. Newer, 4 unit shower house and bath building, water hookups, and electric sites, as well as primitive sites with pens, and day riding parking. No dump station.
Please contact the Hillsdale Park Main office, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm at 913-594-3600 to make reservations, or leave a message at the Saddle Ridge Campground Office at 913-783-4595 for camp host. Please leave a message with contact phone number. If you do not have a reservation made before you arrive, (reservations suggested, on big weekend Holidays especially) pay camp host directly, please don't use pay box. Camp host will collect from you at site for fees. This update is as of August, 2019.
Reservations are not available on the Reserve America website. Only camp ground site information and a map. Please contact as listed in ad to reserve a site at Saddle Ridge Equestrian (only) Campground. Camping without horses is not permitted.
